Data and purposes

Account and contact data support the service and replies to your requests. Your Garage stores the equipment and documents you add. Listings use only contact details you authorise for publication. Conversations, group purchases and contributions support the features you choose. Access and moderation records protect the service and prevent abuse.

Your rights in the European Union

You may request access, a copy and, where applicable, portability, rectification, erasure, restriction or objection to certain processing. A request must not expose other people’s private data. You may also complain to the data protection authority in your country.

A response is normally due within one month. Complex requests may require a justified extension; we must inform you within the first month. Submitting this form does not mean erasure has been performed.

Retention and closure

Closing access does not immediately erase data: your Garage, private documents, contributions, conversations and history may still exist. An erasure request will automatically be opened to review deletion or anonymisation. The team must specify retained data, the reason and duration; closure does not justify indefinite retention.

Hosting and transfers

A European database location does not guarantee all processing stays in the EU. Providers, subprocessors, backups and support access must also be reviewed. Verified details and contractual safeguards appear below once validated.

Cookies, local storage and external content

The service uses sign-in and language cookies. Recipe translation drafts may be stored locally in your browser. Loading images from third-party sites may transmit your IP address and technical information to them, even without clicking a link. Any future non-essential tracking or advertising must be preceded by appropriate choices and must not be enabled by default.
