Ooni appoints former Volvo and Dyson CEO Jim Rowan as Board Chair
Jim Rowan became Chair of Ooni’s Board on 1 August 2026. The former Volvo Cars and Dyson chief executive joins the pizza oven company as it develops its long-term strategy and international business.
Ooni has appointed Jim Rowan as Chair of its Board, effective 1 August 2026. The company announced the appointment on 18 August. Rowan previously served as CEO and President of Volvo Cars, CEO of Dyson and COO of BlackBerry.
He succeeds Paul Ross, who stepped down after eight years as Chair. Ooni also formalised Ruth Chandler and Scott Maguire as non-executive directors, after they had served as board advisers.
The company says the board will work with its leadership team on a ten-year strategy and continued global growth. The announcement concerns governance and does not describe a specific product launch or change to customer services.
